The KL-2000 A can be ordered with additional features:
  1. The electronic sensor automatically stops the roll of edgebanding at the end of the application process. The electronic sensor allows the operator ease and precision when working.
  2. Added arms allow the operator to attach the surface to the feeding belt and automatically apply the edgebanding.
  3. Fully automatic.

MACHINE CHARACTERISTICS.

  1. Geared engine - to move the board together with the edgeband.
  2. Heating element - to blow hot air and melt the hot melt glue that already exists on the edgband.
  3. Thermostat to control the temperature of the hot air.
  4. Manual switch to allow semi automatic operation of the machine.
  5. Electronic sensor to allow fully automatic operation of the machine.
  6. Control light to show whether heating element is in the operation.
  7. Cutting knife to allow operator to cut finished edge from unused edgeband roll.
  8. Leader wheel to allow different width edgebands to be applied to boards.
  9. Extension stands for easy positioning of roll of edgeband.
  10. Main switches allowing easy positioning of roll of edgeband.
  11. Electronic eye calibrator to set the electronic eye to the requirement of the operator.


Heat up the machine for 3 minutes before use.
Place the roll of edgebanding on the extension stand .
Feed the edgeband into the correct channel for its width then….
Place the board that you wish to edgeband and put it up next to the revoloving wheel and the hot air pipe.
As the hot air that is coming out of the pipe melts into the glue on the edgband, move the board along the guide and press it into the wheel and the edgband to create a good pressure bond…
At the end of the action, the electronic eye will tell the machine to stop working automatically.
Depress the cutting knife to detach the newly edged board from the edgebanding roll.

The machine is now ready to edgeband your next board without any further preperatin.
